1.0 - Introduction
The Recipe for Disaster Quest brought about new pairs of gloves and new weapons. This guide answers the frequent questions associated with the gloves and weapons.

The basic facts about the gloves and weapons.
These are only available for wear and use if you do the Recipe for Disaster Quest.
How much of the quest you complete determines what gloves and weapons you can buy and wear.
There are few requirements to wear the gloves or wield the weapons other than completing the various parts of the quest.
There are no attack or defense level requirements.
The gloves are not tradable.
You cannot resell gloves to the chest or to any other store.
You can high alch the gloves.
The Barrows Gloves do not Degrade
As stated, there is a defence level requirement to wear a few pairs of gloves but no defence level to wield the weapons. However, some of these quests needed for the sub-quests give you defence exp.
They are:
Nature Spirit Quest - 2,000 Defence (Lumbridge Guide - sub Quest 4)
Heroes Quest - 2,265 Defence (Sir Amik Varze - sub Quest 7)
*** Legends Quest - 7,500 Defence, does not have to be completed, just started, but Heroes Quest must be completed to start Legends Quest, and Dragon Slayer to start Heroes, which is an extra 18,650 XP. You must also complete Monkey Madness, which gives you 20,000 XP. You do not have to complete it to wield the Dragon Scimitar.
Assuming you could get enough quest points, the minimum Defense levels for the gloves or weapons would be:
Mith - level 1
Addy - level 13
Rune - level 36
Dragon - level 41
Barrows - level 41
