Before you start this quest you will need to have a total of at least 12 quest points, and be able to survive and kill level 33 non player character. You will also want to gather a few items in order to finish the quest, a guard's uniform. In order to make the uniform you will need to find an iron chain body and a bronze medium helmet. You can make these items if you have a high enough mining, and smithing skill level just click on the skill level box and it will reveal the items you can make in black. Of course if you do not have high enough of a level for these items the text will be in red. If you can not make these items you can also buy them from other players in the game. You will first want to log in on the main runescape page under fourm and look on the pricing list for a fair price on these items. In this quest you are off to spy on the black knights to uncover and evil plan. You need to head to Falador to seek employment by the white knights. You will travel to the castle in Falador and head up to the third floor on the most western side. You are looking for a non player character Sir Amik Varze, he looks like he has a crown on his head. Once you find him you will need to talk this Sir Amik Varze. He will tell you that the Black knights are trying to come up with a plan to destroy all of the White knights. He will ask you to spy on them for the white knights. Accept this job to start the "Black knight's fortress" quest. Now that you have started the quest you will need to go to the Monastery. It is located just east of Ice Mountain. When you get inside of the Monastery you will want to go north until you see some Cabbages. You will want to pick a couple of these up just in case you mess up a step later. Now double check your inventory to make sure that you have your guard's uniform and cabbages. You should have also brought enough food and better armor and weapon so that you can use them when you are inside of the black knights fortress.You are now ready to start spying on the black knights. You will need to go to the black knights fortress which is on the north side of Ice Mountain. Be careful not to head out to far north since the fortress is on the edge of the wilderness. You will need to wear your guard's uniform before you get to close to the fortress. Now that you have them both on, open the door in the center of the fortress, which is facing south. You need to push on the wall which is just behind the door and then you need to go up that ladder. Once you are inside the fortress you will want to put on your normal set of armor on for extra protection from the black knights, you will also want to equip your weapon.
First, go to Lumbridge, and go behind the castle and keep going in that direction. Once you hit a bank, stop. You are now in Draynor. Once in Draynor, go north a bit until there’s an opening in the fence. Go through there and go south until you see some boats. On one of those boats talk to the guys in blue and say “I would like to go to Karamja please.” And you will then pay the guy 30 gp to go to Karamja, unless you are a member and have done the quest. Then it’s free.Once there go to the left until you get to the general store, then go south a little bit until you get to an opening in the fence. Go through the opening and go west until you see a red exclamation mark on your map. Yet again, if you are having issues finding this I would recommend looking at the “World Map”. It tends to come in handy.Once inside of the volcano, keep going down past the skeletons until you get to the lesser. Here you can range, mage and melee if you know the right place where they cannot get. Now you fight them until you need food. If you have the right fishing level, there is a place where you can fish for food, but you will need and axe and tinder box since there’s not a fire anywhere. Trees that you can cut can be found on the volcano. Keep fighting these guys for a while because they are really good training. But they may take awhile.If you would rather, you can stay at the Moss Giants, but if you want some money and experience, go to the lesser demons since they drop Rune Medium Helmets. Also a little tip, if you have 55 magic and can use High Alchemy, I would High alch it rather than selling it. If you sell it you can only get 10k. If you alch it you get 12k. In members these guys drop a lot of stuff like seeds herbs and other stuff. Also these guys drop 60 fire runes at a time, so if you just want to make cash but not use food I would suggest ranging these guys. Otherwise you will probably have trouble killing more than 5.
