Sharks are faster then rune, and its not boring waiting 10+mintues for rune. With fishing, it does sadly get boring but you can get aroundthat becuase of the fact 1 click and you can surf the net for stuff! You caneven fish, read this guide, check on your runescape account, and do it for awhile! Its the best skill in runescape, and i love it! I hope my guide helps youdearly, and you learn how to start on the road to 99 fishing, and even learn abit about fishing![The guide!]1. To start off, i will go through what you need, how much it will cost (ifanything) and how i am, right now going for 99 fishing. First, you are going toneed a bit of cash, if you want to get 99 fishing faster. But you can do it onf2p or members for nothing. I will also go into how much cash you can make fromthis, you can make a LOT of cash if you just fish for the right things.2. Costs:Feathers for 76-80+ fishing: about 35,000 feathers if you only want a littleover 76. 50,000 should be good for 80-85.Now, buying them about 7 each on the forums, thats 275,000 to about 350,000.Fish 1k lobs and you pretty much get the money for feathers to 76 fishing.Bait: Really only around 100, shouldnt be more then 500gp.Thats what you'll be buying. Maybe a rod or lobster pot, but thats 1gp.3. Getting the levels...Now its time to get 99 (or 90 maybe) fishing! Starting from 1 it will be a longroad, but you can do it!F2P:1-20: Here its pretty easy. You will have to fish for shrimp, and you'll getshrimp very slowly. Only fishing shrimp, it will take 448 shrimp. Thats about anhour, give or take. But you can fish for herring at level 10. So you could fish448 shrimp, or fish about 116 shrimp, then buy 112 bait and go fish for herring.After herring, GRATZ! You can now fish for trout!20-40: OK, now you've been fishing oh say an hour? Maybe more? Now you can fishfor trout, and this is what you'll be fishing for! Start off in the lumbrigechicken farm with 1k, maybe more. Buy 700 feathers, maybe even 1k at about 4each. With tons of low levels killing chickens, many will trade you. Now thatyou got about 1k feathers, its time to go for 40, maybe more. Go to the flyfishing spot in edgville or stay in lumbrige. After fishing for 656 trout youwill have 40 fishing! Stay here and get 60+ even up to 99... or go to karjama...40+: OK guys and girls, your on a role! Get 60gp and go to the island ofkarjma. Here you can fight big bad lesser demons or fish for tuna, lobsters, andsword fish! To get to 60 fishing it will take a little over 3,000 tuna. Its aLONG way to the bank, so get ready to run! Or sell it to the gernle store! Youwon't get much for them, but its better then nothing i suppose...P2P:1-20: Pretty much the same as f2p. Most members will have 30-40+ fishing by thispoint, but it really doesn't matter. Just fish for 448 shrimp, it will takearound a hour. Switch to herring at level 10 after fishing for 116 shrimp. Get112 bait and fish fo 112 herring. Gratz! You can now fish for trout, and man,its going to be a long road, but you can get 99 fishing from trout!20-76: OK. Get about 35,000 feathers and head to shilo village. Trust me, levelsfly by. I used over 25k feathers from75-84, and i still have 94,000 feathers. It will take about 26,000 trout to 76,and those 35,000 should take you to about 78, maybe 79. At that point you canfish for sharks! And not that slow too...76+ Keep on fishing for trout and salmon or try lobsters or sharks. Theres lotsof things to fish now, even give the trawler a try and get some sea turtles. Toget to 99 fishing you will need one of these:1. 106,000 sharks2. 97,000 monk fish3. 116,000 swordfish4. 146,000 tuna5. 129,000 lobsters6. 233,000 troutAs you can see, you could make 106 million gp! Good luck on 99 fishing fellowfishers, i'm 91 now! I would highly suggest fishing trout and salmon to 80-90fishing, then switching to sharks. Just run over and pick your fishing tools up!Whirl pool: Your fishing spot will turn into a whirl pool and you can lose yourfishing tools! Just find another spot to fish, in about 10-20 seconds the whirlpool should disapear. If not, it will sometime.River troll: A big bad river troll will come out of the water shouting "leave myfishies alone!". It will be level 50-120, depending on your combat level. Justrun or put up a fight with him. After you run away, he'll disapear back to hishome in the sea, or if you beat him he'll drop feathers or bait. Completewith its own bank, fishing shop, range, and a few fishing tools on the ground,and its bank and fishing docks are very close together! This is by far the bestplace to fish any fish, even sharks! Found in hemster, just west on the roadfrom cambrige, its near 2 good telaport spots, the ardouge tele and the cambrigetele. This means its easy to get to and from the guild. At the shop you'll findsome bait, and a bunch of fishes! The bank is one of the few banks i know ofthat you can light fires in! Chop some trees from the near by forests and youcan cook your fish really fast! Very useful if you've just fished 1k lobstersand need to cook them fast! You can not get into the guild until level 68, or 65with a fishing pot or one of the fish pies. The other pie will raise your levelby 5 levels, alowing you to enter at 65. I suggest sticking with catherby beforelevel 68, but hey, its your chose. [Fishing trawler]Found southeast of the gnome maze, northeast of yanille or castle wars, its agreat mini games to play with friends. Bring along some cash, a few friends,some ropes and get ready to rock 'n fish! I'll start off by saying what you. Youwill need ropes, about 10 each per person or 1 person with like 20 ropes, swamppaste (made by using swamp tar with water and floor i think, then cooking it.You can buy it from the near by gernle store, i suggest buying it not making ityour self. Costs about 60gp, way easy), about 100 each maybe less, a bucket andsome good friends. Talk with the cap'in, he will let you on boat. Tell yourfriends to follow you on, you have 1 mintue to wait. Get ready- its not an easymini game. First, once your on the boat MAKE SURE NOT TO SINK! You will have torepair the boats floor, along with bail water and fix the nets upstairs. Have 2friends just fix the floor and bail water when theres none to fix. Anotherfriend should run up and fix the nets, and bail like hell! It will take 10mintues or so, but you can do it! Bewarned, if you fail you die! Nah, you justend up in the water with no where to go. Jump in a barrle and float to shore-around port sciam.Did you win? Gratz! Now you can get lots of fish, and even some fish you can'tfish anywhere else! Sea turtles, mantle rays and a few others are what you canget. Their worth about 20k+ each, give or take. They are pretty rare, so you maybe able to sell them higher, but them being raw and a lot of money, not to manyuse them to train cooking or use them for pking. [Versions]1.0: First ever version!
