It's war on the high seas as Bill Teach tries to make the journey from Port Phasmatys to the pirate enclave of Mos Le'harmless! With his crew heading for the hills he's looking to recruit anyone eager to become a pirate to help him sink the enemy before he ends up swimming home. He's offering a lot more than a shilling to join his crew. Have you got what it takes to be a pirate?

Part 1:
Enter the Boat and Fire the CannonStep 1
Talk to Bill Teach.
Get a fuse and a rope.
Destroy the enemy cannon.Items needed: Ghostspeak Amulet, Tinderbox.

Talk with Bill Teach in Port Phasmatys to start the quest, and after a minute or two of talking, he will instruct you to meet him on the Adventurous. Walk onto the docks and go as far east as you can, and cross the gangplank.

Talk to Bill Teach again. Once the cut scene is over, open up the gun locker and take a fuse. Open the repair locker and take a rope, then walk to the south end of the ship for a tinderbox. Once you're done, climb up the ladder onto the main deck (Picture).

Your first task is to destroy the Enemy Cannon. Climb up the net (Near the broken cannon) and use a rope with the hoisted sail of the Pirates' Ship to swing to the other side. Once you're there, use the fuse with the barrel of powder that's next to the cannon and use your tinderbox to light the end of the fuse (if you have a lantern you can use this instead) (Picture). Now, make your way back to your boat (if you don't have a second rope you'll need to take one from the deck). Just find a similar bit of netting on the enemies boat, climb the mast, attach the rope and swing back.

Part 2:
Repairing the Leaks and Sink the Ship!Step 2
Repair the leaks in the boat.Items needed: 3 Planks, 3 Swamp Paste, a Hammer, 2 Ropes and some Tacks.

Next, Bill Teach will tell you to repair the leaks. To do this, climb down the ladder onto the lower floor of your ship, taking: 3 planks, 3 swamp paste, a hammer, 2 ropes and some tacks. After that, use the planks and paste on the leaks to repair them, then go back and speak to Bill Teach.

Step 3
Take 10 stacks from enemy ship.
Repair cannon.
Sink enemy ship.Now you get to plunder the enemy ship. To do this, swing back to the Pirates' Ship (same as the first time), but now go downstairs. Find the chest and take 10 stacks (or more) of Loot, then swing back to Bill and place the plunder in the chest on the lower decks of Bill's ship. If you do not get 10 stacks on the first try, wait a minute or two and search again (or log out and back in to reset it).

Now Speak to Bill for the last time and he'll ask you to repair the cannon. Go down to the gun cabinet and take a Cannon Barrel and use it with the broken cannon on deck, or click on "Repair" cannon. Tell the captain and he'll describe how to fire the cannon.

To fire the cannon, go down to the gun cabinet and take a Ramrod, Fuse and Canister. Go up onto the deck and take some Powder from the Power Barrel next to the cannon. Use this powder with the cannon, then use the ramrod with the cannon. Next, use the container with the cannon and finally the ramrod one last time. Use the fuse on the cannon and then click on the cannon to fire it. If you don't hit the crew on the enemy boat you will have to repeat this process until you do. If you fail you can do 5 damage to yourself and break the cannon - repair it the same way you did before. Note: After each shot from the cannon, make sure you use the ramrod to clean out the cannon to avoid having to repair it.

Once you've hit the crew of the other ship, speak to the captain and he'll want you to sink the enemy boat (3 successful hits will do this). But this time, you have to use a cannon ball instead of the canister. There is a chance of failing, but just repeat the process until you hit 3 times. Once you've hit 3 times, you'll get a cut scene where you are on the Pirate Ssland of Mos Le'Harmless. The quest ends and you'll get your XP rewards and the "The Little Book o' Piracy." Talk to Bill Teach again to receive a 10,000GP reward.

Q: What can you do on Mos Le'Harmless after the quest?
A: The island of Mos Le'Harmless has a fishing shop, a bank and a clothes shop selling the new pirate clothing. To leave the island just head west, board the boat and speak to the captain to return to the Port Phasmatys docks.

There is also a minigame called Trouble Brewing where you need to brew rum in a race against a team to create the most amount of rum. There are also some new monsters on the island for those on slaying tasks.
